Rokella's story

Far, far away at the edge of the Arctic circle is a land known as Norveden. It’s only exports are Dryvita’s a tasteless crisp bread that can only be described as cardboard you can eat, and a thriving cottage industry knocking out false teeth at a rate of knots.

Every Norveden family spends their evenings whittling reindeer antlers to make dentures whilst listening to dreary Norveden folk music on the radio.

But Rokella likes to tune into the Svenny Show on radio Norveden. He plays modern rock and roll music and Rokella can’t get enough. She is so taken with it that she decides to travel to England and enter the Euro Idol contest.

Her parents are horrified but supportive. Rokella's mama knits her some extra underwear and her papa warns her to stay away from Chavs and Tory voters.

This year the coveted Euro Idol competition will be held in England. Realising this may be her chance to make it. She sets sail but unfortunately she ends up in a Northern flea-pit known as the Shaft Lifters Social Club. She desperately needs help and guidance.

Enter Rodley Stupor, a man with years of failure under his belt and a couple of extra stone in weight. Rodley has played every working mans club and Bingo hall from Preston to Doncaster and he’s still a third rate act. Together they realise they may just have a chance at winning the Euro Idol if they stick together. But they are up against stiff competition.

Das UnterBand will stop at nothing to get this years crown of Euro Idol kings and they are not going to let Rokella’s talent get in their way.

Has Rokella got what it takes to win? or have Das UnterBand got a few tricks up their sleeve’s.

There’s only one way to find out - come and see the show. You’ve seen nothing like it. It’s the only show with laughs, great original music and Dryvita’s. (Cardboard you can eat)
